A message from the Founder

My name is Nelson Dilimi and I’m the founder of Big Daddy Watches and head designer of Big Daddy Jewelry. I want to thank each and every one of you for being with us as we have grown over the past 8 years. we have experienced tremendous growth and we are doing our best to keep up with the increasing demand for our timepieces.

The idea of the business started humbly while working at the Auckland Airport duty free watch shop. I noticed that some watch models were cheaper online and although we were told to let the customer know it is unsafe to buy online, I soon found out that is not the case. And that the industry is much deeper than what we see with our own eyes.

I then set out to figure out the industry. With many sleepless nights, and after traveling the world, my partner and I managed to connect with few genuine suppliers in New York, Florida, and Dubai. While this was exciting, the profit margins were very limited but our passion kept us going. We knew to make this business profitable and worthwhile we had to work with huge amounts of capital.

Luckily, some years later, we managed to get the business to a profitable stage and now we are a team of 8 people running a global watch business from 3 offices/warehouses in Auckland, Melbourne, and Dubai.

We highly recommend grabbing your watch when you see it available. This is because our stocks are always limited. And sometimes it can take years to re-stock. If the model you want is not available, you can also leave your email in the box inside the listing so we can email you immediately once it is restocked.

We have over 10,000 models listed on the site but we rarely have 10% of that at one time. Hence why we recommend grabbing the watch once you see it available.

In the meantime, I would like to ask you to follow us on social media (Instagram & Facebook) and keep an eye on our emails for any changes and offers.
