A published study by the University of Glasgow looked at the personality traits associated with wristwatch wearers versus non-wearers. It was a very thorough study with over 110 participants aged between 17 to 54. The participants filled a TIPI personality test that consists of a ten-point questionnaire to assess the personality of each individual.
Briefly, it was found that watch-wearing participants rated themselves as more conscientious and also scored lower in extraversion, agreeableness and openness. Yet higher on emotional stability. As well as being significantly more on time.
In conclusion, we suggest wearing a watch!
